The advice that I would give Lottie is to take link to the address that was on the letter. So that he can figure out who sent the note. Also if they still live there. Then he might be able to figure out who A.R. is, and if he/she is still alive.
I would tell Lottie he's just a kid. Linc is going to do things he's not suppose to do. Like going into the attic he should have asked. Once again he is just a kid. Don't yell at a kid what you tell them not to do will make them want to do it more. That's the advice i would give Lottie.

I would also give her advice about letting Linc do what he wants to do, it would really help their relationship. Lottie also should stop remembering the pat or your going to miss what`s in the present, or your going to miss all the fun that's happening right now. That's what advice I would give Lottie
